“As an inheritor of the kingdom of God, each child is equal. No child is better than another, regardless of what each has,” Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Howard Gregory, states.
In his Message to mark Children’s Sunday, which is being celebrated across the Diocese on May 1, Bishop Gregory noted that each child was a special individual, created for a divine purpose; and had work to perform for God. He urged children in the church to use their talents in worshipping God; and to follow Jesus’ example of loving and serving others, in keeping with the 2016 Sunday School theme “Following Jesus: From the Cross, through the Church to the world.”
