Description: The week of Prayer for Christian Unity is an international Christian initiative inspired by Christ’s prayer for his disciples and all believers: “That they all may be one…that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (John 17:21) During the week, congregations around the world exchange preachers or observe special ecumenical activities. The theme for 2015 is: “Jesus said to her, ‘Give me to drink’” (John 4:7); highlighting the biblical gesture of offering water as a way of welcome and sharing.
