The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women – IDEVAW – will be November 25.
This year the Brotherhood of St. Andrew & the Mothers’ Union have been invited to show public support for women and girls in the march against violence. Persons from various arms of civil society will meet at 1:00 p.m. next Saturday November 25 in preparation for the march in Half Way Tree. Last Year Fr. Sean and the Lord Bishop did the march. This is supported by the Worldwide Anglican Communion.
If you wish to join contact Fr. Sean who will need an idea of the number of persons attending to reserve your shirt which is provided free of cost. You are encouraged to wear sneakers
Come prepared to walk behind the BSA Banner & the Mothers’ Union Banner. We are taking our witness outside the walls of the church. Come and stand for justice.
